Salute Concert to Marc Lavry

The Marc Lavry Heritage Society that was founded in the last year, invites the public to join celebrities, VIPs and musicians in special evening of the musical heritage of Marc Lavry, the forefather of Israeli music.

Performers in the June 17, 2012 8:30PM concert at the Enav Center in Tel-Aviv, include:

  • The Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble with conductor Barak Tal
  • Soprano Claire Meghnagi and pianist Irena Friedland
  • The Opera Studio Singers of the Israeli Opera
  • The Kibbutz Artzi Choir
  • The Official Woodwind Quintet of the Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem (Oshrat Dadon – Flute, Jose Cordero Cortes – Oboe, Yevgeni Karelin – Clarinet, Isaac Leyva Brenes – Bassoon, Adrian Arroyo Solis – Horn)
  • Flutist Margalit Gafni
  • Violist Avi Sarid
  • and special performance by Harpist Efrat Lavry, the composer’s daughter.
