Israeli Country Dances in Los AngelesThe Los Angeles Jewish Symphony will be performing Marc Lavry’s Israeli Country Dances, Suite for Orchestra, Op. 230 as part of their Cultural Collaborations series.

The Buchmann Mehta School of Music at the Tel-Aviv University invites the public to a tribute concert for composers Sasha Argov and Marc Lavry.

Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance Award

On April 25, 2013 the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance held a chamber music competition for outstanding ensembles. The first place was won by a trio led by violist Avshalom Sarid: Rotem Bartan, flute; Dror Ben-Tabu, viola; Lior Uziel, harp.

The trio was selected for playing a composition by the Isareli composer Marc Lavry – Suite Concertante for Flute, Viola and Harp, Opus 348.
