Synopsis:
These three short solos for Harp were composed in 1959 during the first Israeli Harp Competition.

  • David’s Psalm displays the long sustained sound of the harp
  • Yemenite Wedding Dance is lyrical and intimate (as is the Yemenite bride’s slow delicate dance)
  • Debka (Arabic dance) displays the percussive plucking nature of the instrument
